Looking for an upgrade for your LandCruiser's turbocharger? Kinugawa turbo is designed and built to suit the 1HD series of motors found in the 75, 79, 80, 100 & 105 series LandCruiser. What's more, it utilizes the same flange as the factory CT26 turbo, which means it easily bolts on to the stock exhaust manifold. However, you will need to modify your induction pipe to suit your new 4" turbocharger inlet.
So, how is this turbo better than the factory turbocharger on the 1HD-T engine? Well, the factory CT26 Turbocharger is known for turbine shaft failure when the boost pressure is increased beyond 14psi. This can cause significant damage to your engine.
